Statement of Faith
-
1. We believe in salvation by faith through Jesus Christ, and by no other means.
-
2. We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God, Man and God.
-
3. We believe that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin.
-
4. We believe that Jesus Christ was raised in bodily form from the dead by the power of God.
-
5. We believe that the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God in the original text.
-
6. We believe that the power of the Holy Spirit is real and is for us today, as in early Church.
-
7. In addition, it is also recognized that a diversity of other biblical beliefs can and will be held
by our members as long as they are not used in a nature of division or self edification.
We also endorse the Statement of Faith for the National Association of Evangelicals as follows:
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life,
in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection,
in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the
Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled
to live a godly life.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the
resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
